Cancellation and Refund Policy

We are grate­ful for your dona­tion and sup­port of our orga­ni­za­tion. Dona­tions are nor­mal­ly non-refund­able but if you have made an error in mak­ing your dona­tion please con­tact. The funds will be returned using the orig­i­nal method of pay­ment. If you made your dona­tion by cred­it card, your refund will be cred­it­ed to that same cred­it card

Auto­mat­ed recur­ring dona­tion ongo­ing sup­port is impor­tant to enabling projects to con­tin­ue their work, so we encour­age donors to con­tin­ue to con­tribute to projects over time. But if you must can­cel your recur­ring dona­tion, please noti­fy us imme­di­ate­ly. Your sup­port is very impor­tant to us, how­ev­er, if you are unable to con­tin­ue your recur­ring dona­tions for any rea­son, we under­stand. We appre­ci­ate every dona­tion you have made and the impact on the lives you have helped to trans­form. You can can­cel or dis­con­tin­ue your con­tri­bu­tions by con­tact­ing us at info@simpactfoundation.org

Please note, If you’re expe­ri­enc­ing a sit­u­a­tion that leaves you unable to make con­tri­bu­tions for a short-term peri­od, please noti­fy us so that we can con­tact you when you are ready to resume your dona­tion.

Sim­pact Foun­da­tion accepts all dona­tions in good faith. Whilst we under­stand that every­one has dif­fer­ent pref­er­ences regard­ing dona­tions and that some­times it is not con­ve­nient to give, we will not refund a dona­tion that has been know­ing­ly and vol­un­tar­i­ly giv­en to us.

Once you have donat­ed to Sim­pact Foun­da­tion, we can­not give refunds if you change your mind. It for this rea­son that we ask that you make your deci­sion to donate to us care­ful­ly. Please note:

  • We will refund if there was an error made by Vari­ety Sim­pact Foun­da­tion, one of our rep­re­sen­ta­tives or our finan­cial insti­tu­tion
  • We may refund if the donor entered the wrong amount
  • We may refund if there are excep­tion­al cir­cum­stances

Should an error in the dona­tion amount be detect­ed and a request for refund made after 30 days have expired, Sim­pact Foun­da­tion regrets that we are unable to issue a refund.

What you should do

You have up to 30 days to noti­fy Sim­pact Foun­da­tion of any errors and make a refund request in writ­ing. Please send your refund request in whichev­er way best suits you: Email: info@simpactfoundation.org

What to include

Be sure to include details of your orig­i­nal dona­tion includ­ing:

  • your full name (or the name used on your cred­it card)
  • the dona­tion date
  • the dona­tion amount
  • your receipt num­ber, and
  • The nature of the error made.

Sim­pact Foun­da­tion will review your refund request and let you know the out­come.

Can­cel­la­tion and Refund terms and con­di­tions

Sim­pact Foun­da­tion reserves the right to deduct any bank fees, trans­ac­tion charges or pro­cess­ing fees from the refund­ed amount. Where refund requests are received more than 30 days after the trans­ac­tion, Sim­pact Foun­da­tion regrets that it will not be able to issue a refund.Donations can only be refund­ed to the same account and by the pay­ment method the dona­tion was made.

Should an error ever be made by Sim­pact Foun­da­tion, our finan­cial institution(s), plat­form part­ners or sup­pli­ers, a full refund will be made imme­di­ate­ly upon noti­fi­ca­tion of the error and inves­ti­ga­tion, with pro­cess­ing costs borne by us.  All deci­sions on refunds will be at the dis­cre­tion of Sim­pact Foundation’s man­age­ment.
